The Big Picture Radio Show was hosted by Dara Sanandaji and produced by Freddie Bell. The Show was designed to tackle major issues of societal import, particularly as they relate to the human condition. The goal of the show was to encourage deep collective introspection and to provide an open and honest discourse as to how we can improve the quality of our lives and the lives of those around us. The Big Picture aired on Sundays at 10 a.m. CST on WSBC 1240 AM Chicago and WCFJ 1470 AM Chicago Heights. Run dates were from March through September of 2014.
Dara Sanandaji grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2000, where he earned a degree in Economics and studied abroad at the University Autonoma de Madrid. He then graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006 and is currently an active, non-practicing attorney in the State of Illinois. He worked in financial services following law school, where he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2010. Dara made a transition to filmmaking in 2012 and has now produced two feature-length documentary films. He was also accepted into American Mensa in 2013.
